Biography
Alvin Ho is the Founder and Creative Director of House of Alvin, a couture fashion label that has quickly risen to international recognition through its distinctive storytelling and bold creative vision. Within just five months of its relaunch in 2025, the label generated more than 89 million views and built a global community of 85,000 followers, dressing celebrities for red-carpet premieres including The 82nd Venice Film Festival, The Little Mermaid and RuPaul’s Drag Race UK.
Alongside his creative practice, Alvin is a rising voice in entrepreneurship and fashion-tech. He is the winner of UCL’s 2025 Entrepreneurship Pitch Day with Clique, his startup designed to transform the way stylists discover and connect with emerging designers. Through Clique, Alvin has conducted over 100 customer conversations, applying Lean Startup methodology and customer validation strategies to shape scalable solutions in the creative industries.
Alvin’s professional journey also spans luxury and global brands. At Christian Dior Couture, he drove operational efficiencies across six departments, optimising workflows for over 200 staff and managing £700,000 of daily merchandise logistics. As Events & Strategy Manager at True Decadence, he led the label’s expansion into China by producing a large-scale fashion show for leading industry figures. His marketing expertise includes campaigns with Google, where he delivered guerrilla activations and digital campaigns that exceeded sales targets, and with Raptor Marketing, where he executed high-impact projects for Sephora, Tinder, and Nando’s.
Academically, Alvin holds a First-Class Honours degree in Business and Management from King’s College London and is completing his MSc in Entrepreneurship at UCL, where he ranked top of his cohort in Semester 1. His ambition lies at the intersection of creativity, entrepreneurship, and education—empowering the next generation of thought leaders through workshops, mentoring, and innovation.
